Japanese Tourist Television
Since 1990 Television Oceania has provided a two-channel ‘pay-per-day’ Japanese language television service specifically designed for Japanese travelers visiting Australia. This service is now available in over 50 major hotels and resorts around Australia.
One channel shows regular news bulletins, sport and feature programs direct from NHK in Tokyo. The second channel has a schedule of Japanese feature movies, together with locally produced programming, to give tourists a better understanding about Australia and its major tourist attractions.
